A talking robot was installed at the town hall in Budaörs. The appliance will accelerate and simplify the administration and dealing with residents' various requests posted at the office - said Tamás Wittinghoff at the press conference on Tuesday.
The mayor of the 26-thousand-resident town in Pest county said that the purpose of the public terminal called "Kati" is to inform citizens about the parameters of their to-be-processed-requests in advance. This way, by the time the person pulls a number at the office, he could already know what documents he needs to fill in and submit in order for his specific request to be processed.
Through the touchscreen of the talking terminal you can get all the information and you can print it out as well. Moreover, you can find information on tax issues, vacation coupons, EU tenders and you can also ask for an appointment that saves your time standing in line. - the mayor added.
The appliance that was first installed in Hungary in Budaörs, cost 2.5 million forints. Through six years of preparation it was developed by the professionals of the Hungarian AITIA International Zrt. - as Tamás Wittinghof called to the attention of the audience.
