The Deloitte Central-European Technology Fast 50 competition awards were presented to the Hungarian winners at a ceremony in Budapest. This annual competition is the only one that ranks Central European technological companies based on the increase in their five-year turnover. The companies of the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Latvia, Poland and for the first time Bulgaria occupied the leading places of the Deloitte Central-European Technology Fast 50 competition.
This year there are eleven Hungarian companies among the winners of Deloitte Fast 50. The best two out of these are Assocom Ltd. and Aitia International, Inc. Assocom, placed 6th, registered a 1605% increase in the past five years. Aitia, known for its artificial intelligence solutions, placed 9th, with a 1319% growth.
Aitia International, Inc., with its present name and form, was established on 1st January, 2005. Beside artificial intelligence based solutions the company deals with telecommunications and Internet related research and development as well as with applied information technology. Nowadays the company is most active in developing new services for mobile telephony and speech enabled service applications as these fields present opportunities for acquiring capital.
